Zhao Jiang is China’s first Tamil author
Zhao Jiang or Kalaimakal has become first Chinese author to write a book in Tamil. She has authored a book titled “China’s Travel Attractions” which introduces the reader with the history and culture of Beijing, Shanghai and Tibet. Currently, Jiang is the director of the government-run China Radio International’s (CRI) Tamil station, which commands an significant number of audience in India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Europe.
