World Day of Social Justice celebrated on 20 February

On 26 November 2007, the United Nations General Assembly declared that 20 February will be celebrated annually as the World Day of Social Justice.

This year, the theme for the World Day of Social Justice is selected as “Closing the Inequalities Gap to Achieve Social Justice”. The International Labour Organization adopted the Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization, which guarantees fair outcomes to all.
