Who won the first Wimbledon Title?
The first Wimbledon lawn tennis championship was organised in 1877 as Gentleman’s Singles. Spencer William Gore won this first tile. It was organised by All England Croquet Club which was renamed the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in the same year.
