Who was Sucheta Kripalani?

Sucheta Kripalani is a very important figure in Indian politics because she was the first woman to be Chief Minister of an Indian state, Uttar Pradesh. From October 2, 1963, to March 13, 1967, she was in office. At the time she took office, there were a lot of changes in politics, mostly because of the Kamaraj Plan, which aimed to bring Congress leadership back to life in all states.
