Gustav  Radbruch was a German jurist and philosopher who as a reaction against the horrors of Nazi period expounded the doctrine of ‘higher law’ and morality of law’ to demonstrate that outrageous Nazi laws were not laws as they were oblivious to the moral and natural justice.
