Lieutenant Colonel Sofia Qureshi has become the first woman officer to lead Indian Army contingent at a multi-national military exercise “Force 18” which is going on in Pune, Maharashtra from March 2 to 8, 2016. The exercise is hosted by the Indian Army and in it 18 ASEAN Plus countries including China, USA, Russia, Japan and South Korea are participating.
