Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis have won the 2016 Italy Open Women’s Doubles Title by defeating the Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the final by 6-1, 6-7, 10-3. This was the season’s 5th title for the Indo-Swiss pair after Sydney, Brisbane, Australian Open and St Petersburg. With this victory, Hingis and Mirza has also captured their 14th women’s doubles title together.
