Under Niramaya Yojana, the Odisha government has recently introduced 50 vehicles equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) to transport medicines to State-run hospitals in remote areas. The Niramaya Yojana, launched in May 2015, is a scheme under which 570 different medicines are being provided to patients free of cost visiting government hospitals.
