Himachal Pradesh has become the India’s first state to have a State Data Centre (SDC). The SDC is designed using green data centre concept, as it minimizes power requirement by maximizing power utilization efficiency. It will offer 101 people-oriented services online through an integrated data base. The SDC would help the departments to roll out more government- to-citizen-services and people can avail them from anywhere and anytime.
