Which state government has launched India’s first state-wide broadband project?

India’s first state-wide broadband project “AP FiberNet” has been launched by Andhra Pradesh government in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Under the project, Internet connections would be provided at cheap rate in the districts of Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram by April 2016 and after that the rest of the state will be recovered. Andhra Pradesh government has tied up with Cisco to roll out the project.
