Reliance Power
The Reliance Power has recently received in-principle approval from the Government of Bangladesh for the first phase of a 3,000 MW Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)-based power plant. As per the approval, the first phase of 750 MW power plant will be set up at Meghnaghat (Narayanganj district), around 40 km South-East of Dhaka along with the Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (FSRU) terminal at Maheshkhali Island in Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh.
