An over in which no runs are scored is known as maiden over. Former Indian Player Bapu Nadkarni has the record of highest consecutive maidens in a test match. During 1964 in a test match against England  in Chennai, out of 32 overs he bowled he got 26 maidens of which 21 were consecutive maidens . He had a career economy rate of less than 2 runs per over.
