Bearish Trend is an overall pessimist trend in the financial markets. It is a downward trend seen in prices of the stocks of the industry or a widespread fall in the broad market indices. There is a fall in prices of about 20% which leads to heavy pessimism by the investors.

Investors are said to be bearish when they foresee an overall decline in prices of stocks.
