India has been ranked 138th out of 175 nations in the 2016 ICT Development Index (IDI), as per new report published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The list is topped by the South Korea, Iceland, Denmark, Switzerland and United Kingdom (UK).The 2016 IDI is the part ITU’s flagship annual “Measuring the Information Society Report” that presents a global and regional overview of the latest developments regarding information and communication technologies (ICTs), based on internationally comparable data and agreed methodologies.
