As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s second bi-monthly monetary policy statement for year 2016-17, the policy repo rate under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) has remain unchanged at 6.5 %, the reverse repo rate under the LAF has remain unchanged at 6.0 % and the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate at 7.0 %. The RBI has also kept the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) of scheduled banks unchanged at 4.0 % of Net Demand and Time Liabilities (NDTL).
