What is reed warbler ?
They are small, insectivorous passeriform birds. Reed warbler is “the world’s least known bird species” declared in 2007 by BirdLife International. Its first specimen was discovered in India in 1867, with more than a century elapsing before a second discovery of a single bird in Thailand in 2006. Earlier there was only one name warbler was given to them and assigned scientific name Acrocephalus, now separated in marsh- and tree-warbler family Acrocephalidae.
