What is mean temperature in Arctic Climate?

Arctic Climate pertains to North Polar regions, a part of the surface of earth lying within the Arctic Circle (66° 32’N .). Arctic also describes the conditions or features of climate, landscape, plants and animals characteristic of Arctic regions. Some climatologists define an Arctic climate as one where the mean temperature for the coldest month is below 32°F (0°C) and for the warmest month below 50°F (10°C.)

Arctic circle is a line of latitude the parallel at 66° 32′ N., the sun does not set here on one day of the year, about 21 June, the northern midsummer; about 22 December, the northern midwinter, the sun does not rise. Within the arctic circle, the number of such days increases with the pole’s nearness. At any particular time of the year, conditions are the opposite of those at the antarctic circle.
