What is Intensive Cultivation?

A system of farming whereby the cultivator spend much capital and labour on a relatively small area is known as Intensive Cultivation. In this type of cultivation Land may be kept continually under cultivation, without being allowed to lie fallow at any time.

Intensive cultivation is practiced in countries like England and Denmark, where land is relatively valuable, and high crop yields are sought and obtained.
