West Bengal Health Recruitment Board has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates to the posts of General Duty Medical Officer in the Cadre of the West Bengal Health Service (Basic Grade) under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. Essential Qualification
- Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and
- Registration as Medical Practitioners in the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council provided that the candidates if selected and appointed must register their names in the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining the West Bengal Health Service.
Age
Maximum: 36 years (ordinary medical graduates), 40 years (post graduate qualification).
Cut Off Date: 01.01.2019
Upper Age limit is relaxable by:
3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) of West Bengal.
5 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal.
Fee
Application Fee: Rs 210
The fee has to be paid online through net banking.

Pay Scale
Rs. 15600/- Rs. 42000/, [PB 4A , Grade Pay – Rs. 5400/- ], NPP & other allowances will also be admissible as per Government order in force.
