VL-SRSAM

VL-SRSAM or Vertical Launch Short Range Surface to Air Missile is a missile used for neutralising aerial threats in close ranges. Recently, the DRDO conducted 2 successful tests of indigenously designed and developed VL-SRSAM at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, Odisha. These are to be deployed on the Indian Navy’s vessels. They are capable of neutralising even sea skimming targets and would serve as a force multiplier for the Indian Navy.
