Vincent Van Gogh
Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter. He is one of the influential figures in western art. He is known to have created around 2,100 artworks. He gained fame only posthumously. He committed suicide at the age of 37 due to mental illness, depression and poverty. Recently, one of his rare paintings – ‘Street Scene in Montmartre’ – was in the displayed in public for the first time since its creation in 1887.
