Vigyan Jyoti programme

Vigyan Jyoti programme was launched by the Department of Science and Technology for creating level-playing field in the field of science for girls. It aims to promote science career among girls. The second phase of this initiative was launched during the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February) recently. It seeks to improve women representation in certain areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
