Usain Bolt wins 200 meters title at World Championships
Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt has won world 200 metre title in the World Athletics Championships held in Beijing, China.
In the final of the event Bolt finished the race by 19.55 seconds easily outstripped his rival Justin Gatlin of US who won silver medal.
This victory is Bolt’s fourth consecutive world 200 metre title which he had won earlier in 2009 (Berlin, Germany), 2011 (Daegu, South Korea) and 2013 (Moscow, Russia).

- Usain Bolt is regarded as the fastest person in the world. He is the first man to win six Olympic gold medals in sprinting event and a ten-time World champion
- He is the first athlete to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records and also is the first to achieve a “double double” by winning 100 m and 200 m titles at consecutive Olympics (2008 and 2012).
- Till date Bolt has won 11 of the last 12 individual Olympic and world Championships titles since 2008 Beijing Olympics.
