US shoots four unidentified objects

The United States Military has been shooting down unidentified objects for the last two days. It all began with the US Military shooting down a Chinese Spy Ballon. The US Air Force used its F-22 fighter jets to shoot a Chinese surveillance balloon near the South Carolina coast. The next day it shot another object near Alaska Air Space. This shooting was also done using F-22 jets. Yet another unidentified object was shot over northern Canada. The fourth shooting was done in lake Huron.

About the objects shot

The objects were not like the spy balloon shot earlier. They were cylindrical in shape. Canada helped the US in tracking and shooting the object. Earlier objects did not pose threat to the public. But the recently shot object was 200 feet tall. The payload of this object was more than 1000 pounds. Unlike the earlier objects the last one near Lake Huron posed threat to civilians and their properties.

Why F-22?

The US military has not sold the F-22 fighter jets to any other countries. Not even the US allies possess these jets. The jets are single seater with high power. AIM-9X missile was launched from the F-22 to shoot the objects.
