United Nations not to control Internet Freedom

World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from December 3-14, 2012

UN telecommunications body has clarified that the imagefreedom of the  Internet will not be controlled. It was declared in the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT-12) in Dubai in order to review the regulations which were introduced in 1988.
The conference also included issue about permission of censorship on legal content.

Google showed its concern about some proposals according to which the government would be allowed to censor the legal speech or maybe even shut down access to the Internet. It also argued that the ITU (UN agency for information communication technologies) was not the correct institution for addressing the issues of the Internet.
