Union Shipping Minister launches sixth offshore patrol vessel ‘Yard 45006 VAJRA’

Union Shipping Minister Mansukh Mandaviya recently launched the sixth offshore patrol vessel ‘Yard 45006 VAJRA’.

The vessel was designed and indigenously built by Larsen and Toubro to enhance coastal security of the country. This is the sixth in the series of seven patrol vessels built by L&T, and would be used for day and night patrolling. The vessel with world-class equipment and navigation system would be inducted into the Coast Guard after trials.
