Union Government launches Website for maiden Maritime India Summit
Union Government has formally launched website for maiden Maritime India Summit 2016 scheduled to be held in April 2016.
It was launched by Union Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari on the sidelines of the Make in India Week in Mumbai.
The website will facilitate investors and participants to access detailed information about the summit, including registrations.
Maritime India Summit 2016
- The maiden Maritime India Summit is scheduled to be held in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It will be organised by Union Ministry of Shipping.
- It will be global summit that will comprise of an Investors’ Summit along with exhibition and demo session. More than 50 other maritime nations have been invited.
- The main focus of summit is to give impetus to Make In India and blue economy.
- South Korea is the partner country for the summit and will be represented by a high level ministerial and business delegation.
