Tyrosination sensor

Tyrosination sensor is the 1st tubulin nanobody sensor for studying the microtubule modifications in live cells. Microtubules are structures within the cell that are altered in response to chemicals. They are part of the cytoskeleton. Tyrosination is a biochemical process of modification upon reaction with tyrosine- an amino acid. Scientists at IFCPAR (Indo French Centre for Promotion of Advanced Research) along with Indian scientists had developed the tyrosination sensor for identification of anti-cancer drugs.
