Turing Scheme

Turing Scheme is an initiative by the UK government that would enable its students to study abroad. It is named after Alan Turing, the English code breaker and mathematician. It is the replacement of the Erasmus Scholarship Program of the European Union. This scheme would enable the schools, colleges and universities in the UK to apply for and receive government funding to send its students abroad. Unlike in case of the Erasmus program, the Turing scheme would enable the partnership with countries across the world (not just European countries).
