Tribunals Reforms (Rationalisation and Conditions of Service) Bill, 2021

Tribunal Reforms (Rationalisation and Conditions of Service) Bill, 2021 seeks to do away with several tribunals and provide mechanism for direct filing to the commercial court or the high court. The proposed Bill will close down 5 tribunals and amend several laws related to them. The rationale for this legislation is to reduce the litigation process in a bid to hasten the case disposal and minimise burden on public exchequer.
