UV BLASTER

  • DRDO develops an Ultra Violet (UV) Disinfection Tower for rapid and chemical free disinfection of high infection prone areas
  • The equipment named UV blaster is a UV based area sanitiser
  • It has been designed and developed by Laser Science & Technology Centre (LASTEC), Delhi-based laboratory of DRDO, with the help of M/s New Age Instruments and Materials Private Ltd, Gurugram

  • Google said it had blocked and removed 2.7 billion ‘bad advertisements’ globally in 2019, and suspended nearly one million advertiser accounts for policy violations as part of its efforts to protect users from misleading ads
