Tomas Brunegard is new WAN-IFRA president
Tomas Brunegård, chairman of Sweden’s Stampen Media Group, has been elected as the new president of the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-INFRA).
He will have a two-year term. He succeeds Jacob Mathew of the Kerala-based Malayala Manorama .
The 65th World Newspaper Congress, the 20th World Editors Forum, and the 23rd World Advertising Forum were held in Bangkok.
