Titli wins Best First Foreign Film Award in French Syndicate of Cinema Critics

Indian filmmaker Kanu Behl directorial film ‘Titli’ has won the Best First Foreign Film Award conferred by the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics 2016 (FSCC).
The film features actors Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Lalit Behl, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi in the lead roles.
It has been co-produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee Productions Pvt Ltd.
Earlier Titli has won many awards at various international film festivals at places like Bordeaux (France), Hawaii (US), New York (US), Turkey and Spain.

About French Syndicate of Cinema Critics (FSCC) awards

  • These annual awards are presented in four prestigious categories like Best French Film, Best First Foreign Film, Best International Film and Best Short Film.
  • FSCC is also organiser of the International Critics Week which is the oldest parallel competitive section of the Cannes International Film Festival.
