The 2016 BRICS Convention on Tourism has started at World heritage site Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh on September 1. The 2- day convention has been inaugurated by Dr.Mahesh Sharma, the Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture. The event will consists of inter- governmental exchange of views and ideas and panel discussions on different subjects including cooperation between the BRICS countries for promoting intra-regional tourism.
