The 2016 BRICS Friendship Cities Conclave will be hosted by the Mumbai, Maharashtra in April 2016. The three-day conclave will be hosted jointly by the Mumbai First (a think tank for Mumbai’s development), the Maharashtra government and the Ministry of External Affairs. The PriceWaterhouseCoopers has been roped in as the knowledge partner. The event assumes significance given the Mumbai’s aspiration to become a global financial centre.
