Suman Rao crowned Miss World Asia 2019, finishes 3rd in Miss World 2019
The 69th edition of Miss World pageant was held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the ExCel International Convention Centre in London, United Kingdom.
Representing India, 21-year-old, Suman Ratan Singh Rao won the title of Miss World Asia 2019 during the beauty pageant contest.
Out of 111 entrants from across the world, Suman Rao finished as the 2nd Runner-up in the contest and topped ranked amongst the other contestants from Asia to be crowned as the Miss World Asia 2019. Suman born in Idana village, Udaipur, Rajasthan completed her schooling at Navi Mumbai and is pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CA) course.
Suman a winner of Miss Rajasthan 2019, represented the state of Rajasthan in the Femina Miss India 2019 pageant and was crowned as the Femina Miss India World 2019 earlier this year.
Jamaica’s Toni-Ann Singh was crowned the Miss World 2019, followed by France’s Ophely Mezino as the 1st Runner-up, and Suman Rao as the 2nd Runner-up finishing at the third place.
