SSLV D1
SSLV D1 is a new generation of mini rocket from ISRO. This Small Satellite Launch Vehicle is to be launched on its maiden flight this year and would be catering to the small satellite launch service market. It is to provide cost effective launch on demand services in a ridesharing mode. It is capable of carrying up to 500kg into the low earth orbit and up to 300kg into the sun synchronous orbit. The 1st development flight is to carry an earth observation satellite (EOS-02).
