SPHEREx

Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer or SPHEREx is proposed two-year astrophysics mission of NASA aimed at surveying the sky in the near-infrared light for further understanding of the beginning of the universe. It also seeks to collect more information about more than 300 million galaxies and more than 100 million stars in the Milky Way. The space agency chose SpaceX for providing launch services.
