SG Ball

SG Ball is the new type of ball to be used for the India- England test series. It is manufactured by Sanspareils Greenlands, Indian manufacturer of cricket equipment and the official supplier to BCCI. The new ball is to have a more pronounced seam with a harder core and a darker shade of red coloration. The seams will enable the players to get a better grip and more revolutions. The ball is expected to retain its hardness for a longer period (till the 60th over) and also have a better bounce.
