Senior US Diplomat will be on a 3-day visit to India next week
The United State’s Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary (PDAS), Alice Wells will be on a three-day visit to India from 15th January to 18th January where apart from meeting senior government officials of India she will also participate as a speaker in the Raisina Dialogue on Thursday, 16th January 10, 2020. Following the success of the second edition of the US-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue held last month in the US state of Washington, the visit is expected to further advance the US-India strategic global partnership. The US diplomat will be on a three-nation south Asian tour starting from Sri Lanka on Monday, 13th January and will be heading to Pakistan from India on a visit on the 18th of January, Saturday.
Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javed Zarif is also expected to participate as a speaker at the Raisina Dialogue next Thursday. The Raisina Dialogue has been organized annually since 2016 by the independent think tank based in India, Observer Research Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
