A Stingray was found near the coast of Florida. It was 10 to 12 feet long. They inhabit in the coastal waters of south west, north west and eastern Atlantic Ocean. Their tails are poisonous and measure twice the length of their bodies. The IUCN has categorised stingray to be VULNERABLE. This is mainly due to the commercial and recreational fishing pressures.
