Sanjiv Bhatt honored with Mother Teresa Award
Suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt honored with the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice for 2012. The Harmony foundation who recognized Bhatt as one who stood against communal forces to ensure protection of the vulnerable and insecure minorities.
Sanjiv Bhatt: He is an Indian Police Service officer in Gujarat who is currently suspended. He is known for his role in filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court against the CM of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, concerning Modi’s alleged role in 2002 Gujarat riots.
