The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways has launched the “SAGAR-SETU” mobile app for the National Logistics Portal Marine. This app, introduced by Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, offers real-time vessel details, digital payment options, and track & trace functionalities. The app aims to improve convenience and efficiency by reducing approval and compliance turnaround times. It includes features like a login module, service catalogue, Letter of Credit, bank guarantee, certification, and real-time information on vessel-related details. Additionally, it facilitates digital payments for various import and export clearance charges, enhancing transparency and ease of transactions. The app’s goal is to streamline logistics operations and provide enhanced tracking and visibility for users.
