Sabeera Haris Wins Bronze at ISSF Junior World Cup
At the ISSF Junior World Cup in Porpetto, Italy, Indian shooter Sabeera Haris won third place in the women’s trap category. It was an amazing sports event. With this win, India added another medal to its collection at this important event.
Sabeera Haris’s Bronze Medal Journey
In the final round, Sabeera Haris showed how good she is at shooting by hitting 29 out of 40 targets. After Italy’s Sofia Gori, who won the silver medal by hitting 39 out of 50 targets, she made sure she would be on the podium. Getting a perfect score of 40 won the gold prize for Carey Garrison from the USA. Before the finals, Sabeer was in great shape in the qualifiers, where she earned a spot in the six-shooter final with a great score of 113.
Performance of Other Competitors
Some Indian shooters took part in the tournament. When it came to the junior women’s trap, Bhavya Tripathi came in 26th with a score of 102, and Rajkuwar Ingle came in 33rd with a score of 100. In the junior men’s division, Arya Vansh Tyagi almost made it to the final, but ended up eighth after a shootout, even though he scored 119 points. Young shooters from all over the world could show off their skills in a competitive setting at the ISSF Junior World Cup. It also gave up-and-coming stars like Sabeera Haris a chance to shine. The event finished with impressive performances and accomplishments that helped shooting sports grow and become more well-known.
About ISSF Junior World Cup
The International Shooting Sport Federation runs the ISSF Junior World Cup, which is all about developing young shooting athletes. Since the beginning, the event has given young athletes (usually under 21) a chance to show off their skills in rifle, pistol, and shotgun sports. Every year, the venues move to different parts of the world, giving participants a better foreign experience.
