Royal Order of Sahametrei

Royal Order of Sahametrei is conferred by Cambodian government mostly for foreigners who rendered noteworthy services to the King and the people of Cambodia.  It is part of the Cambodia’s honours system along with the Royal Order of Monisaraphon, the Royal Order of Cambodia and the Royal Order of Sowathara. A United Nations officer from Assam, Kaushik Barua, received a medal under the Royal Order of Sahametrei and Sowathara recently.
