Rashtra Raksha Samparpan Parv
The Rashtra Raksha Samparpan Parv was held in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh in November 2021. It was organized by the Ministry of Defence. It was held as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

- Launch of National Programme of Simulation Training for NCC Cadets
- NCC Border and Coastal Scheme: It aims to expand the NCC by one lakh cadets dedicated to coastal and border areas
What are the key features of the Sainik Schools?
- These Sainik schools are to be established throughout the country. They are to be established in partnership with NGOs, private educational institutions and State Governments. They are to be established in next two years.
- 50% of fee support is to be provided by the Central Government.
- The Sainik schools will follow the norms of Sainik School Societies.
- For the first time, the Sainik schools are to allow day scholars. It also allows early morning and late evening timings.
- The teachers of the Sainik schools are to be provided by the Indian Institute of Teachers Training, Gandhinagar.
- Every Sainik school should excel in one sports discipline under the One School, One Sport scheme of Sports Ministry.
What are Sainik Schools?
The Sainik Schools are autonomous organisations operating under Ministry of Defence. They prepare Cadets to join Indian Naval Academy and National Defence Academy. There were only 33 Sainik Schools in the country.
