C Ramakrishnan appointed as Group CFO of Tata Motors Limited
India’s biggest auto maker, Tata Motors Limited has appointed Chandrasekaran Ramakrishnan as chief financial officer (CFO) of its automobile group.
He will have tenure of two years and the CFOs of all Tata Motors subsidiaries like Jaguar Land Rover, Daewoo etc. henceforth will report to him.
Since 2007, Ramakrishnan has been the CFO of Tata Motors. He was one of the pioneer senior executives to bring Jaguar Land Rover under the company’s fold in 2008.
It should be noted that Tata Motors is the leader in commercial vehicles in each segment India. It is top in passenger vehicles segment especially in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle segment.
