Rajiv Jain is new IB chief

Jharkhand cadre IPS officer Rajiv Jain has been appointed as the new chief of Intelligence Bureau (IB). He is serving as the present Special Director in the IB. He will begin his tenure as the chief of IB from January 1 after the incumbent Dineshwar Sharma completes his term. Rajiv Jain is a recipient of President’s Police Medal and has experience serving in various departments of the IB.
