Rajasthan signs MoUs for Rs 2,452-cr investments at the investment meet in New Delhi
Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) worth 2,452 crore rupees at an investor event organised in New Delhi.
The event was organised in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) by the Bureau of Industry Promotion in Rajasthan.
Investment pacts were signed between the state government and several private companies that plan to set up industrial units in Rajasthan.
These investments are expected to generate over 7000 direct and more than thousand indirect jobs.
Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit 2015:
- Rajasthan government’s Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit is proposed to be held in Jaipur on 19-20 November 2015.
- The event organised in Delhi was a part of a series of events being held across India and abroad to promote investments in Rajasthan which also includes road shows in Germany, Japan and important cities of India.
Note: Owing to attract investments state government is simplifying operating procedures for businesses introducing labour reforms and the single clearance window operated by Bureau of Industry Promotion, Rajasthan.
State government in its investment promotion event of 2014 had extended subsidies to prime sectors, had promised exemptions from duties and fees and curbed red-tapism to some extent.
