Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for filling up the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), JE (Information Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in various zones of Indian Railways and production units.

About Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Junior Engineer

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines

Depot Material Superintendent

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any disciplines

Junior Engineer (Information Technology)

• PGDC/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/BCA/B.Tech (Information Technology)/B.Tech (Computer Science)/DOEACC ‘B’ Level Course of 3 years duration.

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant

• Bachelors Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 45% marks.

Selection Process

Recruitment Process:

• Computer-based test (CBT)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

Examination Fee

• Exam Fee will be Rs 50, out of which Rs 400 shall be refunded if the candidates appear in 1^st stage CBT
• For SC/ST/Women/Transgender/minorities/Economic Backward Class Candidates, the fee payable will be Rs 250. The whole fee would be refunded after deducting bank charges if the candidate appears in 1^st stage CBT.

Age Limit

Age limit as on 01.01.2019 is 18 to 33 years. Upper age is relaxable for eligible candidates.

• Rs 35,400 (Level 6 of 7^th CPC Pay Matrix plus allowances).
